In the name of a legend

Engineering with passion
Our engineering company serves an automotive legend. Due to the variety of Mercedes-Benz G-Class variants many incarnations of this legend exist. Yet, at the core all of them rest upon two manifested premises. Besides the demand that form follows function, the further development of the G-Class is based upon an evolutionary principle. According to this principle only parts that can truly be improved are changed.
Abiding to this motto for 30 years now, we take care of our product portfolio cautiously yet progressively at the same time. Thereby, we offer our customers a traditional vehicle concept which is equipped with state-of-the-art technology. With a focus on functionality and quality we create a symbiosis of consistency and innovation that is unseen in automotive engineering.
In order to realize this task our company – being exclusively responsible for our product apart from sales management and production – is subdivided into three closely collaborating departments. Hereby, our engineers in the development and engineering department constitute the foundation for leadership in technology in the field of cross-country vehicle engineering. Their field of operations includes not only the continuous model upgrading of our modern classic but also the implementation of Mercedes-Benz innovations, the development of speciality vehicles as well as the coordination with the production line.
Our engineers are supported by a business administration that manages and controls our organisation but furthermore fulfils product and production related tasks. These tasks consist of calculations and tender preparation for special orders, as well as the controlling of investment and manufacturing costs.
Apart from the collaboration with specialist departments of our proprietor, Daimler AG, we foster close co-operations with external system suppliers. The reason being is that only the mutual design matching between experts ensures the outstanding adaptability of our cross-country vehicle to the broad range of missions it is intended for. Particularly, we are in a close partnership with MAGNA STEYR Fahrzeugtechnik AG & Co KG since the production of the very first G-Wagon. The company is responsible for manufacturing the G-Class and enables in attentive handcraft that this precision tool of a car is finally put on, and off the road respectively.
