Being part of the cross-country vehicle division at Mercedes-Benz Cars, Mercedes-Benz Consult Graz GmbH (MBCG) is via its ownership and functional structures directly integrated in to Daimler AG.
The Cross-Country Vehicle Division, based in Stuttgart-Möhringen, holds the organisational leadership for the Mercedes-Benz G-Class and its director Axel Harries is in dual role also managing director of MBCG.
Being completely integrated into Daimler AG, MBCG – in its quest to further develop and improve the G-Class – is enabled to utilize all testing facilities, innovations and resources of the corporation and the Mercedes-Benz Cars division in particular. Therein however, our independent organisation maintains the typical advantages of a small unit in terms of flexibility. Thereby, we realise the benefits of both types of organisations.
