Being the exclusively responsible engineering unit for the Mercedes-Benz G-Class our company bridges the sales department and production site. Due to the focus on this vehicle we have specialist knowledge and long experience in traditional cross-country vehicle engineering. With this expertise we have even led this vehicle segment to modernity with unique innovations.
Our operations compromise the entire construction of the vehicle and cover all activities and processes of the build-up cycle of the G-Class. With attention to detail we escort our product from the generation of performance specifications, to vehicle testing, certifications according to international regulations, up to the supervision of vehicle series production. Hereby, we also account for all commercial activities of development and supervision of vehicle production.
As we are solely responsible for our product, our core competencies stretch into all necessary scopes of vehicle construction. Our engineering department is therefore subdivided into teams for the component groups: chassis, drive train, bodywork, vehicle electronics, and vehicle testing. Cross-country vehicle engineering demands purpose-oriented developments and testing. A specific dimensioning of cross-country vehicle components ensures optimal driving characteristics and high durability, by which the backbone of boundless and reliable off-road capability is provided.
